Mondays Music: My Top Ten

Well, I've decided to run weekly posts about music every Monday. For this week, I decided to put up my top five list of favorite songs, Filipino or English.

Countless remakes of this song were made but no one could top the original. I first heard this song when my mom used to sing it on the karaoke. It didn't sound as good but the lyrics is so powerful that its message could be heard even if the singer is mediocre.

I usually hate songs with non melodic screaming but this one is an exception. The way it sounds and the way it can make you want to raise and wave your hands, as if in a rally, makes me forget all the worry in the world and just listen in for a mere five minutes and five seconds.
